Simple steps to secure your probate bond
Getting your probate bond is straightforward with Inglefield Insurance. First, simply contact us. We'll briefly explain the process and help you assemble your application for approval, which typically takes just a few hours. Once approved, you'll inform the probate clerk that you are approved and schedule an appointment with them to sign the bond, either remotely or in person, depending on your situation. An invoice will come just before or follow the signing. The bond is renewed annually with payment from the executor or administrator until the estate, guardianship or conservatorship is concluded with a letter from the court appointed Commissioner of Accounts. Any changes in the estate's value during coverage will require approval and a new signing to adjust the bond.
